In this day and age, there are more charities and benefit funds than anyone can count. Many large companies use small charities such as Toys for Tots to make themselves look good. Such as Kraft. Kraft has supported so many bull**** charities and made so many bull**** contributions, and made such a f**king killing off the good image that they earn from it.
It seems like every day, another charity will be "joined in the struggle" by Kraft or Pepsi, or someone else that obviously doesn't care. No one sees that Kraft, who has had such a "deep commitment to making a meaningful difference to society" (thenightministry.org) is actually owned by Phillip Morris, the worlds largest cigarette producer. Phillip Morris owns 81% of Kraft, and owns 100% of Marlboro, Virginia Slims, Benson & Hedges, Merit, Parliament, Alpine, Basic, Cambridge, Bristol, Bucks, Chesterfield, Collector's Choice, Commander, English Ovals, Lark, L&M, Players, and Saratoga cigarette companies.
Phillip Morris has owned most of Kraft since the 1980's, and has used their food division from Kraft to buy out policy makers and consumers. They use advertising campaigns to make everyone love them for their charitable contributions made by Kraft. They are only trying to suck everyone in. Well, Phillip Morris, you won't fool me.
You try launch "tobacco-free teen" programs, and put the little signs on the back of the box, just like Congress tells you to. But all you really try to do is make a profit, by whatever means necessary. Extorting workers, misleading consumers, and whatever you need to do. Readers, next time you go out to buy your Kraft Mac and Cheese, keep this article in mind. Next time you go out to buy anything, in fact. Do the research. Take accountability, and make the world a little better. Well, Phillip Morris, I hope you're happy to know that you have done so much to contribute to the rough estimation of 40 million people that have died from smoking or smoking-related causes. Keep up the good work.
